The main moisture content is free water and biological water. Free water is relatively easy to remove, while biological water is difficult to remove. The drying process of bamboo chips mainly considers factors such as output size, characteristics of finished materials, ease of operation, one-time investment, and operating costs. At present, most bamboo chip drying equipment adopts air flow dryer, fluidized bed dryer, and rotary dryer. Among them, air flow dryer and drum dryer are the most widely used in bamboo chip drying, and the investment of air flow dryer is the most economical, especially when the output is small. However, due to the extremely short drying time of air flow dryer and the inability to classify the coarse and fine, it is easy to produce unstable moisture after drying, which is prone to blockage and unreliable operation, resulting in the inability to match the rear equipment, causing waste of investment and energy.
Nowadays, there are also many methods that use drum and airflow to dry bamboo chips. However, most of the rollers use single rollers, which occupy a large area and have poor insulation properties. In addition, bamboo chips are unevenly distributed on single rollers, and there is no coarse and fine material grading drying device, which often leads to instability.
